You do not need a professional photoshoot. A simple, well-lit photo helps the AI understand your shape and place the dress more naturally.

Make room for the whole dress

Use a full-length photo with a little space above your head and below your feet. A cropped portrait can still work, but it cannot reliably show a long skirt or train outside the original frame.

Keep your pose simple

Face the camera, stand naturally and keep your arms slightly away from your sides. Avoid crossed arms, large bags or objects covering your waist and torso. Keep your usual proportions—there is no need to edit your body.

Choose gentle, even light

Daylight near a window is a good starting point. Avoid very dark photos, harsh backlighting and heavy beauty filters. Your face and the outline of your clothing should be easy to see.

Use one clear subject

Upload a photo of one adult. You should own the photo or have permission to use it. Simple, fitted everyday clothing can give a clearer outline than a large coat or a very loose layered outfit.

Bringing your own dress reference?

A front view of the full dress usually works best. Choose a clear image without overlapping people, text or a collage. You must have permission to upload the reference. The preview is an AI interpretation and may not reproduce every stitch or embellishment.

Compare with the same starting photo

Use the same photo for your shortlist. The fitting prompt asks the AI to keep your pose, body proportions and setting, although differences can still occur. Compare silhouette, neckline and overall feeling; check measurements and comfort at a real fitting.
